Our School

Welcome to Term 3
Welcome back to Term 3 everyone. We all hope you’ve had a fantastic Christmas holiday period in anything that you were doing.
Looking ahead to this term it’s a long one at a total of 13 weeks. We will be getting up to lots in that period of time (it’s always the most productive term!) so be sure to keep an eye out for updates on the website, school socials and Seesaw!

Welcome to Hope Community School. I hope this website gives you an understanding of what makes our school so special.

I am thrilled to be leading on the development of our school and exploring ways that we can all work together to make our school an exciting place in which to think, work and play. We value the input of parents and community members in helping us provide a rich, stimulating and varied school experience for all the children in our care. It is crucial that we work in partnership with all stakeholders and we welcome your support in order to make such partnerships strong.

Throughout the year you will be able to view and download school menus, policies, letters, Parent Council minutes as well as see the learning activities the children have been involved in.

Should you have any queries or need information which you can’t access on the website please feel free to get in touch with the school.

Kind Regards

Steve Arnold

Head Teacher

End of Term 2

What a fantastic term Term 2 has been! It’s been another odd year with parent’s not being allowed in the school, which is always hard around Christmas! The children have all been working incredibly hard on their singing performances, and Mr Arnold has been working incredibly hard to film, edit and put them into a video for you to enjoy. This will be available for you soon.
We also have the term newsletter coming out soon, which summarises the term perfectly. Please make sure you give it a read!
Thank you all for your continued support.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Term 2

Welcome back to term 2 everyone! There have been some changes with the football timetable this term. Please see the timetable below, or under our School Activities section.
With the darker mornings and nights it is vital that children are coming to school with Hi-Vis vests and reflectors on their bags to ensure their safety. Thank you to those who are sending their children with these already. As the weather is taking a turn, please can we ask that children are being sent to school with a change of socks where possible as we can often get caught out outside, or some children struggle to stay out of the puddles!
Parent’s evening will run this term. Keep an eye out for emails from the school with dates and appointment times. Any Christmas events are still yet to de determined/confirmed. When a decision has been made we will let parents and carers know plans (if any!)

Thank you all for your continued support, and here’s to a successful new term!

End of Term 1
…and just like that Term 1 is finished! Thank you everyone for a super, yet still different, first term. It’s been busy and we’ve just gotten started.
Thank you again, and we hope you all have a fantastic October break!

from,
All the staff at the Hope Community School

Welcome Back!

We all hope that you had a super Summer Holidays and are ready for a new year and term here at the Hope Community School. There are lots of fun things planned this year across all the three classes, so make sure you keep an eye on the school website, Twitter and Seesaw for an insight into some of these things.
At the moment COVID restrictions are staying the same. This means that pupils are to enter and leave the building using the side doors. This remains the same as last term. Masks no longer need to be worn on the school buses.

As it’s the beginning of the new school year, can we please ask that you ensure children’s names are written on all items of clothing, packed lunches and dinner tickets? This helps us massively when things go missing!
We know that the start of a new school year can be daunting and challenging for some, whilst exciting for others. If there is anything at all we can do here to help, please do no hesitate to get in touch. We are always happy to help.

Here’s to a new school year!
From,

All the Staff at the Hope Community School
